Central
Dekalb fields football and cheerleading teams ranging in ages from
4 to 14 years of age. Our football program is age based with no
weight restrictions on any of our age groups. CD plays out of Wade
Walker Park located at 5595 Rockbridge Rd. in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Central
Dekalb is considered one of the top youth football program in the
state of Georgia. Because of our success on and off the field, we
are considered the model program of the Atlanta Falcons as we host
their NFL JPD Program, our staff were guest speakers at their Youth
Summit, our staff has taught at their Mom's 101 Camp, and the list
could go on. Central Dekalb does not talk about being the best,
we go out on the field and prove it year after year.

Central Dekalb University
Central Dekalb refers to itself as “The
University of Central Dekalb”, or more affectionately known
as “The U”. The word university is derived from the
Latin word “universus”. Universus simply means “combined
in one”. That, describes Central Dekalb. We are over 20
football teams, a dozen cheer teams, over 800 kids, over 1600
parents, all “combined in one”.
More affectionately we have been called “The U”. The
“U” stands for unity. It is a source of pride and
a rallying point for all of those kids it represents. It reminds
us all that whether we are a kids playing 4 year old flag football,
a 14 year old playing his last season at Central Dekalb, a first
year head coach or the most seasoned head coach in the park, we
are all “combined in one”, a unified family. We are
“The U”
